We went on two different ocean based wildlife excursions in Alaska. We saw tons of whales. Humpback whales like we have on the east coast and also Orcas which was so cool. We got some really great shots even with our phone cameras. #lovemyscrapbookingideas #cocodaisy #travelingcrafter

For me there is nothing more relaxing and mentally resetting as walking on the beach.  Doesn’t have to be warm even.     This was Laika’s first beach walk.  She loved the running free part on the beach but we had to keep her from drinking the salt water.  #lovemyscrapbookingideas #travelersnotebook #travelingcrafter

While I was home on the Cape for a visit we took the dogs out on their local trails. They really enjoyed it.  Less wildlife but beautiful scenery. This was the first time the 2 dogs had spent an overnight together.  Blue is much bigger and in charge than Laika.  #lovemyscrapbookingideas #cocodaisy #travelingcrafter

Since the start of the pandemic I have used my commuting time to walk.  On average I walk 2 miles a day.  Still working from home and my time varies but I really enjoy getting my walk in on the beautiful local trails.  #lovemyscrapbookingideas #cocodaisy #travelingcrafter

Had to make several trips to drop my daughter back on campus.  Laika our dog loved to chase the Canadian geese.   The UCONN Avery Point campus is beautiful – right on the water in Groton, CT. #lovemyscrapbookingideas #cocodaisy #travelingcrafter

After doing nothing for months it was so exciting to go out for a holiday light display – even if it was just a drive through with a dinner at Denny’s after. The light display was beautiful!
