In my daughter’s 2nd grade class her teacher had a great activity to get the kids used to speaking in public. She had an author’s tea and each student got up and read one piece of the writing they had been working on in class. She paired the writing with art so when the parents came in for this event they got to see, read and hear all the kids had been working on. Mrs. Waltmire was truly an inspiration to these students. Having a little party after was a great motivator for the kids.
I picked up this kit at a tag sale with Little Yellow Bicycle products. Loved them. I ran the ribbon through my small xyron to make it stick easier and with less mess.
