Living in the East coast seeing Orca’s was amazing.  The humpback whales we have seen off Cape Cod.  I love going on whale watches at home so seeing the west coast wildlife was on my bucket list for sure.  #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

So my daughter is a huge fan of the TV series “the 100”.  We found out before we left home that the show was filmed here at the Oceanic Plaza so she had to take some photos and a video recreation of the scene from the show.  Luckily there was not a ton of foot traffic.  Just one of those vacation memories we will never forget.   #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

On the cruise we spent the morning cruising by the Hubbard Glacier.  They even had a retired Canadian Mounty in uniform posing for photos.  Clearly there were scrapbookers in charge of the photo ops.  So blessed to see a glacier up close and personal.   #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

Who knew mining for gold was fun – and there was more puppies here too! We learned all the things people had to trek up this pass if they wanted to look for gold – it was crazy – cant even imagine after taking the train up that pass.  #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

We were so excited to try a dog sled and meet all the puppies at a mushers camp.  So much fun.  The dogs loved to run and to visit with everyone.   A rainy cold day in Alaska but luckily we packed for that!  #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

Got some great shots by the Denali Visitor’s center before our official bus tour through the park – yup its that big you need to take a bus for several hours…. I tried to tear the paper to resemble mountain peaks.  #‎lovemyscrapbookingideas‬ #scrapbookinglayouts #travelingcrafter

Loved our time at Denali it was so worth the extra few days to see.  The views were spectacular.  So much to see in so little time.
